Karachi, Pakistan – The 7th International Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Conference, held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Karachi from November 10-12, 2024, has brought together a wide range of experts in physical medicine, neurology, and rehabilitation. on 10 November, 2024 , a key workshop on transfemoral amputation management titled “Hands-on Training in Quadrilateral and Ischial Containment Socket Techniques” allowed participants to gain practical skills using advanced anatomical casting devices. Conducted by Lecturer and senior orthotist-prosthetist Mohammad Abbas, the workshop provided 27 attendees with hands-on experience over a two-hour session, emphasizing the latest techniques in prosthetic customization to meet individual patient needs.
