Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan Chairs Inaugural PIPOS Board of Management Meeting

Peshawar, Pakistan – The Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences (PIPOS) welcomed its newly formed Board of Management, presided over by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan, Chairman PIPOS. The meeting set the stage for a constructive dialogue aimed at enhancing the institute’s academic, clinical, and administrative functions.

During the session, board members engaged in discussions on key strategic initiatives, institutional development, and future plans to elevate PIPOS’s role in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. The meeting underscored the board’s commitment to advancing rehabilitation services and professional training in Pakistan.

Following the meeting, the board members conducted a comprehensive visit to PIPOS and the PIPOS Rehabilitation Support Program (PRSP). The visit provided an opportunity to assess the facilities, understand operational workflows, and explore avenues for further improvements in patient care and education.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan emphasized the importance of collaboration, innovation, and capacity building to strengthen the institution’s impact. The formation of the Board of Management is expected to bring enhanced governance and strategic oversight to PIPOS, reinforcing its mission to provide quality education, research, and rehabilitation services to individuals with physical disabilities.
