Health Advisor Visits PIPOS, Issues Directives for Better Patient Care

Peshawar, April 23, 2025 – The Honorable Advisor to the Chief Minister for Health, Ihtisham Ali, made a surprise visit to the Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences (PIPOS) in Peshawar. During the visit, he met with PIPOS management to discuss training, education, and rehabilitation services for patients.

Advisor Ihtisham Ali praised PIPOS for its leadership in prosthetic and orthotic rehabilitation, thanking the team for their hard work and dedication. He emphasized the institute’s vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities through quality care.

During the visit, the Advisor issued clear instructions to the management, focusing on accountability and patient care. He stated that any staff member failing to perform their duties would face strict action, including possible termination. He also stressed a zero-tolerance policy for any compromise on patient care, especially for those with disabilities. The primary goal, he said, is to provide high-quality services to patients in need.

The visit underscores the government’s commitment to improving healthcare services and ensuring that institutions like PIPOS prioritize patient well-being and accountability.
