Muzaffarabad: The Ministry of Health, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and other healthcare partners, is organizing a Physical Rehabilitation Camp from October 21 to 25, 2024, at the Muzaffarabad Rehabilitation Center. This camp aims to provide free medical services and prosthetic solutions to individuals with physical disabilities.
Participants will receive free registration, medical consultation, and services such as custom orthotics, artificial limbs, crutches, and shoes specifically designed for people with disabilities. Special attention will be given to children in need of specialized shoes or orthotic devices to correct deformities. Additionally, therapy and rehabilitation exercises will be available to assist in improving mobility.
The camp will offer treatments related to amputations, polio, and other disabilities, ensuring free access to artificial limbs, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices for eligible patients. Those suffering from physical disabilities are encouraged to participate in the camp to take advantage of these services.
