Miranshah: The PIPOS Outreach Project Team marked International Day of Persons with disability with a meaningful event at the Physical Rehabilitation Centre Program in Miranshah. The program aimed to promote awareness about the importance of understanding and supporting people with disabilities, as well as to highlight the initiatives of PIPOS and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) outreach projects.
The event showcased the efforts of the outreach teams in improving the lives of persons with disabilities through the provision of assistive devices, comprehensive care, and support. The teams also emphasized their commitment to creating opportunities that empower individuals with disabilities to lead better and more independent lives.
The PIPOS Prosthetic and Orthotic (P&O) team included Waseem Khan, Ali Iqbal Bangash, and Tanzeel Khan, while Sifat Dawar represented the PRC Miranshah P&O department. Their active participation highlighted the collaborative approach taken by these organizations in addressing the challenges faced by persons with disabilities in the region.
This World Disability Day celebration was not only a testament to the ongoing dedication of PIPOS and PRC Miranshah but also a call to action for greater societal inclusion and support for persons with disabilities.
