Islamabad: Spouses of diplomats from various international missions in Pakistan recently visited the Rehab Initiative (RI), a key partner of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), working to improve access to quality rehabilitation products in the country.
The visit, co-organized by RI and the ICRC, saw participation from diplomatic representatives of Belgium, Cuba, Denmark, Japan, Jordan, and Thailand. During the tour, participants gained valuable insights into RI’s services, including its training programs and local production efforts aimed at enhancing rehabilitation services in Pakistan.
The visit also provided an opportunity for diplomatic spouses to meet and interact with individuals benefiting from these services, offering them a deeper understanding of the challenges and progress in the field of physical rehabilitation.
